Location: The Woodlands, TX

Project: SharePoint / Intranet Redesign

Term: Immediately start through July 31, 2019

Schedule: Full-time contract and onsite; some remote work possible after building trust with client team. 9/80 schedule available

Type: 1099 or Corp-to-Corp only, no W2s, no benefits


  • Establish an approach and plan for redesigning the HR pages for company intranet site

  • Serve as the project manager for the redesign efforts - report status, manage issues/risks and assume overall accountability

  • Identify stakeholders and content owners for pages

  • Prepare workshops materials and facilitate discussions to assess current state - what content should be kept, what changes

  • Prepare and manage inventory of pages and content changes

  • Understand corporate guidelines on design requirements and adhere to these accordingly

  • Create a new design for each page based on changes agreed upon with content owners

  • Redevelop SharePoint pages

  • Review and test newly designed pages with stakeholders and content owners

  • Work with the IT group to establish the correct development and testing environments

  • Manage the launch into production


  • MUST have served as a project manager of a similar large-scale SharePoint redesign effort (prefer someone that has led multiple redesign efforts)

  • 10+ years as a SharePoint power user - understands the functionality, what can and cannot be done, strong administration skills with ability to redesign pages independently (in 2013 version)

  • 10+ years as a project manager with ability to prepare a easy to understand/track project plan

  • SharePoint design experience with ability to create visually appealing content, use of white space, visuals, etc. Does not create too busy pages; fit for purpose content, etc.

  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to independently lead meetings, capture feedback and keep dialog productive

  • Strong communication skills

  • Builds confidence quickly

  • Organized and methodical
