Client: Oil & Gas Refining and Marketing Company
Location: Houston, TX (Downtown)
Term: October 1, 2018 – March 2019 with possibility of extension
Type: 1099 or Corp-to-Corp only. No W-2s. No benefits.
Houston-based downstream (refining and marketing) client is considering expanding into new line of operations. Project sits within finance organization with focus on the record to report (R2R) process. Currently in planning and analysis phase. Will soon begin to make changes to organization, processes, and systems (including SAP) to prepare to support the new operations.
Lead change management stakeholder and impact assessment to understand how going into a new line of operations will impact the finance organization. This will serve as an input into an effective engagement and training plan.
This role will require strategic thinking in terms of coming up with the right OCM approach, but also be hands-on and require heavy lifting in terms of documenting changes and creating training materials to prepare for the change
There are 50-100 stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Key activities include understanding the changes to SAP and processes to create awareness of the changes, for example, awareness sessions
This role will be expected to conduct some functional testing of the SAP system throughout the project
Experience providing OCM support for organization, business process, and system changes required
Experience developing SAP training strategy, developing training content, and executing training
Experience updating existing process and training material required
Experience supporting SAP financial systems within the Finance organization preferred
Oil & Gas experience preferred
