Organizational Change Management Lead

OVERVIEW

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption, usage, and value realization and minimize resistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead full life-cycle OCM activities for organizational transformations, such as system implementations/upgrades, operational/process improvements, and acquisition integrations

  • Apply a structured OCM methodology

  • Own the complete value chain of organizational change management deliverables including the case for change, change management strategy and plan, change readiness assessment, stakeholder analysis, leadership engagement, change impact assessment, communication approach, change champion network, training approach and sustainability approach.

  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

  • Draft communications to facilitate the required stakeholder engagement.

  • Define the training needs analysis, develop a targeted training approach, develop training materials and facilitate training where required.

  • Define measures of success to ensure value realization

  • Drive sustainability planning and execution

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 10+ years of experience leading OCM efforts on enterprise-wide organizational IT and business transformations

  • Experience with change management principles, methodologies and tools

  • Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Executive presence and strong leadership skills

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), facilitation and presentation skills

  • Excellent active listening skills

  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Experience managing work across organizational departments or teams

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • OCM lead experience with relevant technologies, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, and Workday

  • Relevant industry and functional experience

  • Prior Big 4 consulting experience

  • Experience supporting Agile projects

  • OCM certification
